Hardcover à Imaginalis Kindle ¶ imaginalis download, Imaginalis MOBIThis story was clever and interesting but flawed leaving the resolution as a little too pat One of the problems I had with the story was the order in which the reader was given information It's not until well into the story that the reader is told that the Imaginalis series which so obsessed the main character wasn't particularly popular Up until that point it seemed as if it was a big deal and that it was only her obsession with it that was bugging her classmates and that it was close to being the next Harry Potter or NarniaAnother issue like this was the villain Since we the readers haven't read the book within a book it's harder for us to understand the characters but the villain seems pretty much all powerful At one or two points in the story I found myself wondering why the villain hadn't won yetTo me the ending didn't fit very well with the tone of the last half of the story Overall it was enjoyable but not as good as it could have been

Hardcover à Imaginalis Kindle ¶ imaginalis download, Imaginalis MOBII've been a fan of JM DeMatteis for a long time between his comics work and his canceled too early series of Abadazad novels Imaginalis was certainly well written but a bit of a disappointment The characters he created were entertaining and the hints he gives of the Imaginalis books were certainly intriguing I liked the ideas about fiction interacting with reality At the end of the day though the story was pretty straightforward We weren't immersed in the Imaginalis world the way we had been in the Abadazad stories to really see why Mehera found them so special Instead we get something of a deus ex machina explanation DeMatteis is a fine writer with som

Hardcover à Imaginalis Kindle ¶ imaginalis download, Imaginalis MOBIThis book totally came across to me as pointless I mean the author had good descriptions and all but other than that the storyline was pretty hard to follow and it was way over dramatized The drama part might have been because the narrator was supposed to be a thirteen year old girl but the way Mehera was completely obsessed with the Imaginalis books was slightly disturbing She kind of went into depression when the Imaginalis book was canceled and anyone who can get that upset about a children's book probably needs therapy

Hardcover à Imaginalis Kindle ¶ imaginalis download, Imaginalis MOBII was very intrigued by the blurb when I decided to buy this book as it's about a girl who ends up in a fantasy world created by her favorite authorI really loved the general concept here Opening a door to your most beloved bookish world and actively participating in the story? Well you've certainly got me with this I also liked the portrayal of the female main character and the setting that's been established around her life story It's a single parent setting whic

Hardcover à Imaginalis Kindle ¶ imaginalis download, Imaginalis MOBIThe general premise and twist on child discovers beloved storybook world is real sounded interesting I'm also a fan of DeMatteis' comics and can enjoy children's books despite being well out of the target demographic so was looking forward to this Surprisingly I couldn't even get through the first chapter without starting to skim A little further and I gave up altogether The main characternarrator gets so caught up in her own enthusiasm that she rambles without restraint I want to find her endearing and be angry with the classmates that mock her and complain to the teacher about her love for her favorite book yet the writing style and excessiveness of her verbose book report strained my own patience There's something seriously wrong when I'm sympathizing with the bullies I tried a couple times and tried skimmingskipping ah

Hardcover à Imaginalis Kindle ¶ imaginalis download, Imaginalis MOBII love a good fantasybut this one was just a little too weird There are fantasical creatures a creepy and smelly villain and adventure But I just couldn't get past the weirdnesscharacter names behavior actions It was very much like a Neverending Story takeoff a girl gets involved with characters in her favorite fantasy series a book within a book But the book inside the book was just really odd I think to make a good fantasy work you've got to firmly anchor the new and strange world somehow with the reader I didn't feel it worked too wellThat said I still finished it and stayed up too late to do it So clearly I was at least hooked by it somewhat
